Nouveau mois, nouveau topic : comme les mois derniers, le 1er post du topic servira d'index pour les news afin de faciliter l'accès à celles-ci quand elles seront noyées au milieu des discussions qu'elles entraînent.

  • Mark Russell et Mike Allred exportent chez DC le concept de la Life Story de Marvel pour Superman au travers d'une mini-série en 3 épisodes Superman: Space Age où 80 ans d'histoire seront explorés.

  • La couverture de Dark Crisis #2 par Daniel Sampere et Alejandro Sanchez pour juillet.

  • Suite à la disparation de la Justice League, DC débute une série de one-shots en juillet baptisée Dark Crisis: Worlds Without a Justice League avec Dark Crisis: Worlds Without a Justice League - Superman #1 par Tom King et Chris Burnham. Ce même one-shot a une back-up dédiée à Aquaman par Brandon Thomas, Chuck Brown et Fico Ossio.

  • Bientôt un projet par Ram V, Rafael Albuquerque et Dave Stewart.

  • Detective Comics change de mains en juillet au #1062 avec l'arrivée Ram V et Rafael Albuquerque pour une histoire baptisée Gotham Nocturne.

  • Nouveau spin-off à DC vs. Vampires avec DC vs. Vampires: All-Out War, mini-série en 6 épisodes débutant en juillet par Matthew Rosenberg, Alex Paknadel et Pasquale Qualano.

  • Dreamer arrive dans le DC Universe! Après son introduction lors du futur DC Pride 2022, le personnage de la série Supergirl arrive dans Superman: Son of Kal-El en juillet qui voit Nicole Maines épauler Tom Taylor au scénario et Clayton Henry arriver au dessin.

  • Voilà Batman: White Knight Presents: Red Hood le spin-off à Batman: Beyond The White Knight par Sean Murphy, Clay McCormack et Simone Di Meo en 2 parties dès juillet.

  • DC célèbre Batman #125 avec plusieurs couvertures.

  • Les sollicitations de juilet.

  • DC va rendre hommage à George Perez en publiant dans chaque comic du 9 juin, date de son 68ème anniversaire une frise réalisée par une kyrielle d'artistes.

After years of standing idle, the young man from Krypton defies the wishes of his fathers to come out to the world as the first superhero of the Space Age. As each decade passes and each new danger emerges, he wonders if this is the one that will kill him and everyone he loves. Superman realizes that even good intentions are not without their backlash as the world around him transforms into a place as determined to destroy itself as he is to save it.

“SUPER pumped to finally reveal what we’ve been working on in secret for so long,” said Mike Allred. “Easily my biggest project for DC yet. Working with Mark Russel and his brilliant script has been a blast! Packed with head-spinning iconography, top tier characters, twists, thrills, and chills, resulting in a powerful instant classic epic! The first of three issues will be available at local comic book stores on July 26, with a new issue coming out every two months. “I’ve been a fan of Tom since his days on Grayson, so although he’s probably better known for his 12-issue ‘war-is-hell’ epics, I still primarily think of him as writing fun formalist done-in-ones,” said Artist Chris Burnham. “I’ve got two young boys who haven’t quite figured out what a knucklehead their old man is, so it’s fantastic to be drawing a story about Superman trying to live up to the high standards of his own father. I loved drawing the adventures of Batman and Robin in Batman Incorporated, and it’s been extra fun to draw Superman with a Robin-esque Superboy”

Dark Crisis: Worlds Without a Justice League - Superman #1 will be available on July 12 with art and a main cover by Chris Burnham, as well as a 1:25 variant cover by Steve Beach and a 1:50 foil variant of the main cover.

Je ne suis pas intéressé par l évent mais King sur Superman associé à Burhnam je dis oui. Pour les autres tout dépendra des équipes créatives ;)

Si c'est le cas, vraiment content de n'avoir fait aucun prologue de ce qui apparaît donc comme une autre mini-série.

A cause du report du film ou à cause d'Ezra Miller?
Le dessinateur évoque que c est lié au report du film. En même temps être disponible au moment du film c est la seule raison d être de ce type de comics.

Il n'y a jamais rien d'indispensable. Alors avec Ram V on est dans l'expression d'une vague à l'écriture plus littéraire, moins formaté comics, c'est tout sauf de l'easy reading.
Un autre exemple de cette vague serait Hickman, on y trouve aussi des plumes comme Spurrier. Un peu les descendants des Claremont ou Nocenti des 80's.

Je pensais que ce qui retenait votre attention résidait au niveau des concepts qu'il développait.
Je vais prendre le premier tome de Swamp thing en VF pour me faire une idée propre.

Ca serait bien qu'il change un peu son modus operandi et se mette un peu plus en danger avec une série qui raconte quelque chose à chaque épisode plutôt que d'avoir une seule idée étirée tout du long.

A voir les équipes en place mais jamais été un grand fan des comics préquelles à une série TV ou à un film (tant c'est généralement supericiel):
