Dave Cockrum originally created Nightcrawler while he was in the United States Navy, stationed at Guam. He recounted: "I sat up one night in the middle of a typhoon because it was too noisy to sleep, so I stayed up and thought up this character. Originally, Nightcrawler was a demon from Hell who had flubbed a mission, and rather than go back and face punishment, he decided to stay up here in the human world. He was supposed to be the sidekick of another superhero character that I had created named The Intruder." At this point Nightcrawler wore trunks instead of a full costume, but otherwise looked identical to his final version.(Itw dans Wizard US = X-Men Turn Thirty)

In Adventure Comics #363 (Dec. 1967) a letter writer asked why black people were not represented among the Legionnaires. Mort Weisinger responded, “Keep watching this mag. We guarantee our next new Legionnaire will surprise you.” Two issues later, Shadow Lass was introduced — but with blue skin.
Yet another reader asked about the difference in skin coloring in the letters column of Adventure Comics #368 (May 1968): "Will Shadow Lass grow up to be a Caucasian Shadow Woman?” Weisinger replied, “Shadow Lass will grow up to be Shadow Woman. The statue we showed in No. 354 should have had blue skin, not white.”

Ha mais je te crois. Donc Kurt a eu plusieurs version. Je m’etait toujours demande ce qui aurait été différent pour kurt dans outsiders. Bon déjà le nom, l’organe allemande et mutante remplacer par une planète. Mais pour ses pouvoir et donc la tu me me répond. Les pouvoir aurait été les meme car déjà là à la base. Je me demande si son côté pirate aimant l’escrime ne vient pas aussi de sa première version.
